This kit is a completely bolt-on disc brake conversion for your Suzuki Vitara, with in-built hand brake.

It uses standard Suzuki front brake rotors, and common brake calipers from a Mitsubishi Galant, which include a handbrake in the caliper and are sized correctly to work without an additional proportioning valve.

The kit connects the stock Suzuki handbrake cable to the caliper with no modifications to the cable required.

The kit contains:

Caliper mounting brackets
Replacement caliper handbrake quadrants
Brake hose brackets & clips
Handbrake cable mounting hardware
All required mounting bolts
Brake hard lines pre-flared with nuts.

Instructions

The only parts required are:

Mitsubishi calipers and brake hoses
Suzuki brake discs
Brake fluid. 
Silicone sealer / gasket maker

Note: This kit fits later model (approx. 94 on) Vitaras that have the wheel studs in the end of the axle shaft. Earlier Vitaras had the studs in the brake drum.

Can be installed with simple hand tools in a few hours.

The calipers are usually available rebuilt from Rockauto in the US under the following part numbers:

A lot of the reconditioned calipers don't come with the special banjo fitting where the brake hose connects to the caliper. You can use SUNSONG 2203882 from an Isuzu Amigo / pickup if you don’t have the banjo block fitting. This hose has a banjo on the end and will bolt straight to the caliper.
